It's the real Kitchenaid thing and it fits perfectly.
It does not chip with the white platic lid shown in the photo. I didn't expect it to, but just FYI. |

We bought the blender refurbished about a year ago. Paid about half the price of a new one, got the same great product.
Our son broke the Jar and even it costed half of what we paid for the whole belnder, it's really worth it. |

| Originally bought with SS jar....quickly decided it need to be glass....tried getting this but was back ordered for 8 months....tried again 4 months later and had it in 2 weeks....much better seeing when things are at the proper stage rather than liquifying everything |
