Perfect for the Weekend morning family breakfast. Family of 7 tested. From bacon to pancakes to eggs to sausage - no stick and absoltuely no effoty to clean. The griddle covers the burners perfectly and the handles are easy to hold but are configured so the griddle fits a typcial gas range just right. The cheaper griddles tend to warp (after heating) and the expensive ones are usually too big for the standard gas range. Someone at KitchenAid did their homework. This griddle gives you the expensive perfomance (and look) but at a mid range price.

I searched forever to find the right sized griddle for our stovetop gas range. I didn't want a two-sided cast iron "camp griddle", nor did I want a cheap thin one with non-stick surface that fails right away. This was for my wife, who is a great cook, so it needed to be high quality with good heat transfer. This Kitchen Aid griddle is all of that and looks great with the ceramic red exterior. It is simple, flat, with low sides makes it easy to get a spatula under the pancakes close the edge. The handles are low, so it fit under the backsplash of our GE range (I returned a Calphalon version with high handles that didn't fit).
Great Find! Great Griddle!

My husband bought me one for Christmas. Stays flat and feels like it will last! I use this one in the oven too for cooking larger amounts of Bacon so I do not get the cook top so greasy! I loved it so much I came to Amazon to get another so I could do a full pound of Bacon in one shot. The handles get hot is my only complaint but that is why the have pot holders. I see the make a version with cool soft handles but you would only be able to use that on the cook top. Maybe I will buy both versions...have 2 for Bacon...1 for cooking pancakes or eggs. Sunday Breakfast will be a snap! Now if I could only find a good Toaster or Toaster oven :)
Love it!

This double burner griddle is the best. It works great with my glass top stove. Your food cooks evenly, does not stick, and clean up is a breeze. Just the name KitchenAid says it all. I would recommend this griddle to anyone.

I bought the KitchenAid Double Burner Griddle to replace a Cuisinart electric griddle that I had for 10yrs. I loved that griddle, but you couldn't put in water to wash it, so it was a bit of a hassle to get clean and food would get stuck in the grooves. I love the KitchenAid Griddle more. It's very sturdy, well made, and easy to clean. I've only used it to make breakfast so far, but that's what I used the other griddle for too. The KitchenAid's smooth surface doesn't allow food to get stuck. I don't have to scrape anything off w/ the spatula and worry about ruining the nonstick surface. It heats food really evenly. I anticipate on owning this baby for many years to come. I would definitely buy another one for myself or a friend.
